In Search of the Light

In Search of the Light is an adventure game where you dive into a world submerged in a realm of dark forces where darkness reigns supreme. It's your turn to follow along on the story of an unusual creature out to find a bit of light in this world of shadows.

As you might expect, In Search of the Light plunges you into the depths of a monochrome world tainted by hues of grey and black. In order to move your hero around each level, you need to tap on the corresponding arrow keys to move forwards and backwards. And, as per usual, all you have to do is tap the spacebar to land jumps and dodge any obstacles that pop up along the way.

Another interesting aspect of In Search of the Light is that its soundtrack is pretty stellar. This game steers clear of trite soundscapes to expand the genre -- making your own original sound effect score as you play. Each step you take produces a unique sequence of sounds to accompany your every move. And, in the upper part of the screen you'll keep count of the number of light orbs you've accrued.

In Search of the Light has a unique esthetic to it and controllers that allow you to move around each landscape seamlessly. Making your way around each dark corner to find the last little sliver of light, it's up to you to bring dawn to a dark world haunted by a mysterious darkness.
